The Rivian R1S range is up to 320 miles, which is impressive and on par with the Tesla Model X’s range of 350 EPA-rated miles, it can also reach 60 mph in 3 seconds; but its features are in a class of their own making it a practical camper, family car and much more.

There is a split tailgate with a bench that can support up to 1000 lbs of weight, and the SUV can even kneel a few inches to make it easier to get atop that bench with your picnic or champagne.

In the driver’s door, there is a torch, and the doors’ flush handles pop open if the key fob is in proximity; there is an option of a wrist-mounted fob, one that fits in your wallet or a standard fob.

The team also like the Lamborghini door-style charging port flap which opens like a scissor door.

Inside, R1S has vegan leather, attractive seats, a huge center screen and high-quality plastics, but there's another great feature: the removable, portable Bluetooth speaker that also functions as a lantern.
